Community Development Initiatives

Mahatma Gandhi once stated that India’s development is intrinsically linked to the progress of its villages. Whether it’s through quality education, healthcare, sanitation, or efficient waste management, the advancement of our rural communities is crucial for the nation’s overall growth. Bannari Amman Spinning Mills Limited is committed to balancing profit with social responsibility, and rural development is a core focus of our CSR policy.

We have partnered with Mr. Vijaykumar, an esteemed advisor for our CSR initiatives. A retired IAS officer, former Commissioner of Chennai Corporation, and former Collector of Vellore, Mr. Vijaykumar has successfully led Activity-Based Learning (ABL) in 38,000 schools across Tamil Nadu and has piloted it in 10 other states. He is also a member of the National Resource Group of NCERT and serves on various Central Government education committees.
